Handbike Kettwiesel

$10,390.00

Real mobility instead of makeshifts: The robust design and technology, ergonomic hand drive, and hub gears will get you almost anywhere. The joy of independent movement is a strong motor – and it increases with the riding fun that this KETTWIESEL brings.

Mobility is one thing. Being able to get everywhere you need to go and have fun on the way is another. This is what differentiates KETTWIESEL HANDBIKE from wheelchairs with attachable handcycles. Our handbikes offer practically all the same qualities as sister models – KETTWIESEL, LEPUS and PINO: comfort, maneuverability, and safety along with mobility at reasonable speeds. After all, being there is what counts.

But trike genes give the HANDBIKE a whole lot more.  Especially details like the handcrank assembly which can be folded forward for especially easy mounting and dismounting.

Or the Schlumpf internally geared crankset, which transforms the nine-speed Shimano gear system into a transmission with 18 gears, making the mountains “barrier-free”. Or choose the 14-speed universal shifting whiz Rohloff Speedhub. For braking, the powerful hydraulic Tektro disc brakes get the job done. And of course when changing gears, both hands stay where they belong: firmly on the handles.

Handbike Lepus

Perfectly adapted comfort: Glide over the bumpiest surfaces with an air shock, master uphill stretches with a differential and fine Rohloff hub, and – when the going gets too tough – enjoy a boost from the e-motor. Design your LEPUS based on your individual idea of comfort.

Kettwiesel Allround

Base Price: $5,580.00

Today high-speed cornering, tomorrow laid-back cruising? This trike has what it takes to put the joy in joyride.

Discover lots of new things from the laid-back perspective of the recumbent seat – and enjoy go-kart dynamics everywhere you go.

One wheel in front, two in the back, and a happy rider in between – the classic delta form makes the KETTWIESEL fascinatingly dynamic and stable in cornering. It feels just as much at home on smooth asphalt as it does on daredevil ramps or bumpy farm tracks. And this is where the newly developed rear-suspension system for the models EVO and KROSS really comes into its own.

The two swing arms of the independent wheel suspension system with cornering-stability control are supported by air shocks. The system offers a full 80 millimeters of travel. The result: a magic carpet ride.

And there’s also more comfort when it comes to folding: thanks to a new quick-release, the KETTWIESEL seat is now easier to fold and stow. With the QUICKSTICK axles, the wheels can be removed in just seconds (does not apply to EVO and KROSS).

The front section of the chain is now fully enclosed – meaning no grease on the pant legs – and, thanks to a new, inconspicuous quick-adjust system, it’s even easier to adjust the trike to different riders without having to change the chain.

More comfort for the eye: the front boom on all models is now an elegant matt black with special markings that help you find the right length adjustment for your legs – no more guesswork.

Kettwiesel Evo Steps

Base Price: $10,510.00

Fresh impetus for evolution: Motor power with automatic shifting!

Evolution never stops – at least not with the KETTWIESEL. We’ve ramped up the comfort factor … without sacrificing an ounce of riding fun or agility.

Shimano Steps motor: Automatically faster. The e-motor provides assistance up to 16 mph (25 km/h) and harmonizes perfectly with your pedaling. With Di2 electronic shifting, you can change gears with the press of a button or let the system choose the best gear – automatically.

Full suspension for an ever-relaxing rideThe independent suspension system with air shocks makes the KETTWIESEL EVO STEPS a comfortable, full-suspension trike. A sway bar like the ones used in automotive design preserves the well-known KETTWIESEL feeling for maximum fun on three wheels. Down cobblestone roads or over curbs, the KETTWIESEL EVO STEPS always keeps its cool.

Adjustable frame.  All KETTWIESEL models have a quick-adjust frame that can be easily adjusted to riders of different heights without having to shorten or lengthen the chain. The length-adjustment markings on the front boom make it easy to remember length settings for switching between various riders.

The folded trike has a maximum length of 3’2” (96 cm)The new EVO frame is foldable – and the folding process is as easy as 1-2-3: just open the quick-release levers to release the seatback and fold the seat forward. Then open another quick-release behind the seat, pull up on the cord, and – presto! – the rear portion folds down and forward. The folded trike has a maximum length of 3’2” (96 cm) for easy stowing.

The ROLLER BAG: so much more than a pannier.  The ROLLER BAG is a large-capacity, waterproof pannier (available in 50 and 100-liter versions) that can be mounted behind the seat with an easy click. Its design is focused on comfort and versatility. The cover can be opened and closed with a single hand for loading and unloading the huge compartment. The 50-liter ROLLER BAG fits to any aluminum KETTWIESEL, and the 100-liter version is compatible with rear-suspension models (both available as accessories).

Pino Cargo 2023

$12,250.00

The PINO CARGO is a different kind of cargo bike. Not lumbersome, not bumbledom, but a slimline and agile cargo bike that, in its free time, leads a “double life” as a tandem.

Trigo

Base Price: $2,840.00

The best “Boomer Bike” to come out of the HASE factory is called TRIGO.

Their new TRIGO has a lot to offer both newcomers and experienced trikers: the front boom bends low to make mounting and dismounting easier than with an upright, and the higher seat (up to 26 inches) guarantees a good view of traffic. In addition, the pedals are positioned below the level of the seat instead of far out in front like a traditional recumbent.

The adjustability for your size and comfort is amazing. It’s for riders between 4’7” (1.40 m) and 6’7” (2 m) in height and provided that you’re willing to share with others.

For the length adjustment, all you have to do is open a lever and slide the seat into the appropriate position. No need for tools and no need to shorten or lengthen the chain!

The TRIGO even has adjustable handlebar grips: both the angle and width are adjustable, ensuring that every rider can enjoy the perfect hand position for steering, grip-shifting, and braking. And last but not least, the seat tilt can be set to your preferred position using a quick-release mechanism.
